Fisker has announced that he could not come out his Karma to the end of 2010. Since the announcement of its release in 2008, Karma was expected late 2009 then late 2010, and now Fisker announces that it will be necessary to stand February 2011 (at best) for the beginning of the production... just hope that this time is good!
However, 100 copies should be soon on the road to undergo tests (certainly the last, hopefully), so that the 1300 persons having already preordered their Karma can finally be served. Fisker plans to produce 15,000 vehicles annually.
As a reminder, Fisker was based on the technology of the Chevrolet Volt, namely a thermal engine which reloads batteries, running at constant speed. This allows the car to be 100% electric, with an autonomy of 300 miles and a top speed bridled at 125mph.
