February 2010, Chrysler is recalling 312,442 vehicles for airbag problem which can trigger itself for no reason. The recall involved the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Caravan and Grand Caravan produced between 2005 and 2006.
And as if that were not enough, Chrysler is coming to formalize the recall of 290,000 Jeep Wrangler that could present risks of leakage of brake fluid, causing a partial loss of braking capacity according to the NHTSA. The cars affected were sold between 2006 and 2010 in the United States.
Today Chrysler announced a new wave of recall about 284,831 vehicles (the same models that in February) for an electrical problem of the sliding door that could cause a fire.
And as if that were not enough, Chrysler is coming to formalize the recall of 290,000 Jeep Wrangler that could present risks of leakage of brake fluid, causing a partial loss of braking capacity according to the NHTSA. The cars affected were sold between 2006 and 2010 in the United States. This series represents a total recall of nearly 600,000 vehicles in less than six months ! Hopefully that the black series of Chrysler ends here !
