Audi confirmed its coupe R4.

Until then concept car, Audi has officially confirmed that the little coupe R4 would see the daylight soon. Also called as "Baby-R8, the Audi A4 has similar traits to his big sister, but only on the side of the look. Indeed, under its beautiful dress inspired by the concept car e-Tron2 will hide likely a home-made 4-cylinder developing from 180hp with the 2.0l TDI to 300hp with the 2.0l TFSI placed in central rear position, but the electrical engine is not confirmed. This future R4 will share its steel frame with the future VW BlueSport.

However, the Spyder version is not confirmed yet. Audi is not certain to produce it, because it would give too much shade to the future little Porsche roadster based on the same basis. Its price should be around $40,000 approx.
