In the series of delays, I ask the FT-86 ! Indeed, Toyota has announced the deferral of putting into production of the new "Celica" in 2013. The way which it was announced can think of two possibilities ... FT-86 will emerge either with a hybrid or electric engine, or it will not come out !
Yet the future Celica was rather well received by the public and the world press at its presentation at Tokyo Motor Show.
However, Toyota would evoke a change in the outline of the car (so why wait 2013?), But also, and this would be more valid, poor health of the automotive market for this class of car and home continents automotive market. For now, Toyota simply observes how happens competitor Honda sales and its CR-Z.
