Aston Martin Virage, between DB9 and DBS.

Aston Martin is to formalize the release of his model Virage, a name already known in the british brand. Indeed, in 1988 it replaced the V8.
Today, Aston Martin places it between the DB9 and DBS. Very similar to current models of the range, it could be the replacement for the DB9 with clean lines to the extreme ... beautiful.
Motor side, the Virage adopts the V12 6.0L of 497cv with a couple of 570 Nm identical to the DBS. To maintain comfort while offering superior performance, the Virage acquires the damping control ADS (Adaptive Damping System). Carbon / ceramic brakes will be availiable.
Obviously the Virage will be offered in coupe or convertible. No price announced yet.

An Aston Martin saved from oblivion for $317,000

An Aston Martin DB2 / 4 Mk III Drophead convertible dating from 1958 was found after to have slept thirty years under a tarp.

While initial estimates ranged between £ 80,000 and £ 100,000, between $123,000 and $154,000, it was finally sold last Sept. 7 for the sum of £ 206,000, $317,000 - to a British collector at the auction " Barons British Heritage "at Sandown Park in Great Britain.
The new owner of the old English is now preparing to restore his jewel.

An Aston Martin James Bond soon for sale.

Next October will be held in London the sale of Aston Martin of James Bond, played by Sean Connery in Goldfinger in 1964 and Thunderball in 1965. These are the auction houses Sotheby's and RM Auctions, which will work for this sale October 27.

Aston Martin offers a slight facelift to its magnificent sculpture DB9.
Seemingly nothing, since six years, the current DB9 covers our roads. The British firm had to evolve its beautiful sport car, but the changes are small, ... and one might almost say "good"!
His style is closer to his sister DBS, with a front bumper redefined, side skirts that we believe borrowed to DBS and a new rear diffuser.
As for technical improvements, not too many changes. It's a pity ! but it seems that the power of its engine is slightly increased (10-20hp more). The DB9 will always be equipped with its V12 6.0 477hp base.
This new version will be officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show.

Aston Martin Rapide: finally on the road.
