The range is now much broader than the alone Prius, even if it remains the best selling with over 1.8 million units. Toyota may also rely on the Camry Hybrid already sold more than 200,000 units worldwide, the crossover Highlander Hybrid in the U.S., or the Crown Estima on the Japanese market, Auris HSD in Europe and various models Lexus HS250h, RX450h, GS450h, LS600h and soon the CT200h. The cars which all have passed the 500,000 mark for the first time in 2009 and over the year.
Toyota doesn't keep the hybrids production only to Japanese factories, indeed cars are also assembled in the United States, China, Australia and Europe with the new Auris.
