Seen at the Geneva Motor Show, the Audi R8 V10 GT will come out well this year ... but in a limited release of 333 copies.
Lighter than a standard R8 V10, it is also more powerful. Indeed, it displays 560cv and 540nm allowing it to reach 60 miles per hour in 3.6sec and a top speed of 200 miles per hour.
Weight gain is realized through the use of a plastic-carbon alloy for tailgate, the underbody and the rear bumper, the use of fiberglass for seats, the ceramic for brake discs and carbon for the flat bottom and air diffusers.
The aesthetic line of car has been slightly reworked at radiator grill, exhaust, ventilation louvres and a spoiler was added to improve the support and the aerodynamics at high speed.
This new version of the Audi R8 is one step closer to its cousin (the Lamborghini LP 570-4) and will be sold in Germany for around € 193,000 or $ 246,000.
