The small Netherlands automaker just paid the final financial commitment to pay off the full amount to General Motors for the purchase of Saab. The car manufacturer describes as having paid the second and final part of the purchase price of Saab Automobile AB to its U.S. counterpart. Remember that the deadline for the payment of $ 24 million was on July 15 next, but that Spyker has decided to pay the bill almost two weeks earlier.
Spyker said that payment was funded from internal sources of the group and no increase in external debt or issue shares that would cause dilution of existing shareholders. This internal funding was assured following the completion of the acquisition of Saab Great Britain Limited by Spyker last May 31.
