Next 15 August at the Concours d'Elegance in Pebble Beach, Morgan will unveil its new model. It will be a coupe, the EvaGT.
According to Morgan, EvaGT is stylistically inspired by Frazer-Nash and Bristol of after the war.
Like them, the EvaGT boasts a blend of performance and luxury.
Another common point: the steel use being rationed, they used aluminum. However, the EvaGT will be made in this metal.
Moreover, like the latters, it uses a BMW engine, the 3l twin turbo 306hp. It is mated to a manual or automatic 6-speed gearbox.
With a weight of 1 250kg, it reached 60mph in 4.5 seconds and passes the 170mph. Its consumtion is to 7.06l per 60 miles and emits 200g of CO2.
Morgan is expected to produce a first batch of 100 copies, from 2011.
