Directed by Karl Lagerfeld, the new Pirelli calendar devotes the Greek mythology and goddesses.
The 38th edition of the famous Pirelli calendar, dedicated beauty, youth and veneration with paintings of gods, myths and ancient heroes. The 36 photos were taken in the Paris studio of the designer Karl Lagerfeld.
The 21 models selected are  five male models: the American Brad Kroenig, and Garret Neff the British and the French Davis Jake Giabiconi Baptist and Sebastian
Jondeau. The other goddesses of the schedule is the actress Julianne Moore,
American Heidi Mount and Erin Wasson (also found in the edition
2005), Australian Abbey Lee Kershaw (which began with 2010 Calendar)
Austrian Strubegger Iris, the Brazilian Isabeli Fontana (already present
editions in 2005 and 2009), Canadian Daria Werbowy (calendar 2009),
the Danish Freja Beha Erichsen, the Indian Lakshmi Menon, the Italian Bianca
Balti and Elisa Sednaouiles, Jamaican Jeneil Williams, the Dutch Lara
Stone (also in this edition 2009), the Polish Magdalena Frackowiak
and Anja Rubik, Natasha Poly and Russian.

The Most stylish station wagon: Shooting Brake Mercedes CLS

In confirming the launch of the station wagon version of the CLS, Mercedes wants to reproduce well the event that had been the CLS in its starts. A converging line, statuesque drawing, Mercedes has not done things by half to meet CLS customers in lack of trunk! Planned for 2011/2012 this future version of the CLS will keep all the aesthetic beauty of the prototype presented at the Beijing Auto Show 2010.

Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake

VW Beetle third generation in video.

Although the new version of the Beetle is officialy expected in Detroit
autoshow, we can see a pre-series on the road during the final tests of this
model. No many informations concerning the mechanical way, no more for the price.



On this stolen video, we can see that this new Beetle generation keeps genes of
the last. VW conserves the tubby side of its ladybug with circular
headlights, a rounded form body and chubby fenders.

New Mercedes SLK, exclusive video.

Scheduled for 2011, the new Mercedes SLK is ready for the showroom and the first customers.
We discover here on official video for the first time. It seems that this video has leaked from the studio of Mercedes because it was quickly removed from the Web. Here in this short from 10 minutes, the new SLK in details taking on an air of SLS AMG.
This commercial spot seems intended for the French market.

Nissan Murano Convertible ... will exist!

Nissan has officialy announced the release of a 4WD convertible called Murano
CrossCabrio. This new body will be unveiled at the auto show Los Angeles
and will be on the roads in early 2011, but Nissan has already announced it will be
produced in small annually series .
This version of the Murano will have two doors, four seats and luxurious equipment. For the moment we do not have too many news available, one

 CVT and a X-Tronic transmission. Equally important, the Nissan Murano
CrossCabrio will be reserved for American and Asian markets.

New breakthrough for electric cars.

The companies Lekker Energie and DBM Energy have made a journey of 373 miles (600km) with an Audi A2 electric, fully equipped by their care.

This A2 nicknamed "Little Lekker Mobil" took eight hours to connect Munich to Berlin, at an average speed of 53mph (85 km / h) (maximum speed 80 mph - 130km / h).

Supported by the German government, this study represents a real technological breakthrough. Equipped with new generation batteries lithium-polymer-metal called Kolibri AlphaPolymer Technology, testers have completed the trip with heating, heated seats, radio, a part of the journey has even done at night so with headlights on. These new generation batteries have the distinction of having a large capacity of storage, and can be recharged in 6 to 10 minutes. The major problem with this setup is the high price of batteries that can not allow yet a mass production.

Mercedes has finally revealed an official image of its future SLK ... we will have to make do with, but it concerns a major innovation of the future Mercedes convertible, its roof.

Although like the previous generations, retractable and rigid, it adopts a new technology for varying the opacity of the roof to modulate the brightness and heat supplied by solar radiation in the interior of the car. This electrochromic glass principle is called by Mercedes "Magic Sky Control", poetic, no!
Obviously, this roof will be offered as an option about to $2800.

Moreover, this new generation of SLK is expected to be formally presented in Los Angeles to end year, or more likely at the Detroit Motor Show or to Geneva.

New Dodge Charger for 2011.

Dodge has unveiled the first official pictures of the new Charger which will begin his business career by the end of the year.

This new generation of Charger draws one's aesthetic inspiration from its 60s ancestor , including the profile line and the taillights incorporating 164 LEDs . The front is fairly close to that of the current model even if it appears that the radiator grill is enlarged at the base.

Dodge announced that the new Charger will feature 65 new comfort and safety equipments : ESP, standard pre-crash system, adaptive control, blind spot sensor, keyless start, the Parkview. As for comfort, Dodge should offer dual-zone air conditioning, a new GPS navigation, stereo installation high quality.

Engine side, the new Charger will be available initially with 3.6 L V6 engine Pentastar with about 290 hp and the 5.7 L V8 HEMI (~ 370 hp) pending a probable SRT8 version with the new V8 6.4 L. The Charger 2011 remains propulsion whose undercarriages have been designed to compete with the delicacy, precision and capabilities of the best European cars. The version 5.7 will also be offered for sale in 4WD version with a new management system which automatically disconnects the front wheels drive and saves up to 5% of consumption and CO2 emissions.
